(A) Unfortunately, we can't oversee and manually screen all auctions.

If you see an auction that looks to be Offensive, Spam, Miscategorised or Prohibited, please alert us.

(Q) Does MerlionAuction.com offer any type of mediation between buyers and sellers?

(A) MerlionAuction.com objective is to connect buyers and sellers. All transactions are completed between the two parties.

MerlionAuction.com does not get involved in these details or the transaction itself.

(Q) How do I report a bug I've encountered with the site?

(A) If you encounter a bug when using MerlionAuction.com, please alert us with the following details:

(Q) How do I register?

(A) To register click on the "register" link found on both the header and footer navigation sections

(Q) I'm under 18 and can't sign up?

(A) In accordance with standard law, under 18's cannot participate in auctions.

If you are under 18, we suggest you seek consent/assistance from your parents/guardians.

(Q) Why have I not received a confirmation email?

(A) If you have not received your confirmation email, first check any "Bulk" or "Junk" email folders in your mailbox to see if the confirmation email was sent there.

SELLING

(Q) How can I list an item?

(A) You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Sell" link

The first thing to do is select a category. You can then enter in your chosen settings, item images and item description.

(Q) How do i list a Buy Now only auction?

(A) Start your listing as you would normally. When you arrive at step 4 you must enter the same amount in the Auction START AT and

BUY NOW fields also make sure to check the Yes box next to BUY NOW. Now just finish the listing as you would normally.

(Q) What is a Dutch Auction and what does it do?

(A) A Dutch Auction allows you to list more then one of the same item in a single listing. There are two diffrent types of Dutch Auctions.

1) A Buy Now auction, This allows you to list as many of the same item that you desire, and the price set is per unit

2) This would be a bulk listing list as many of the same items as you desire and sell the lot at auction end price.

(Q) How can I increase the chance of getting a good response to my auction?

(A) To increase the chance of getting a good response, follow these simple tips:

(A) Yes you can, however we recomend you use basic HTML tags.

(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm selling?

(A) You can keep track of everything you are selling by visiting your members area and selecting the "selling" page.

HOW TO BID

(Q) How can I place a bid?

(A) To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in, two bidding boxs will be displayed on all auction pages,

one under the item display and another at the bottom of the page. You can use these boxes to place you chosen bid.

(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on?

(A) You can keep track of everything you are bidding on by visiting your members area and selecting the "bidding" page.

(Q) How do I know if I am outbid on an item?

(A) Our auction system will automatically notify you via an email if you are outbid.
